This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ. – Philippians 1:9-10
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Hello friends! Our verse for today is Philippians 1:9-10: “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.”
Isn’t it beautiful? Imagine a love growing and blossoming, full of understanding and insight. This verse has been deeply in my heart today.
Think of love like a small seed that’s planted deep within us. With care, it grows and becomes a sturdy tree. According to our verse, love isn’t just about warm feelings. It’s about gaining wisdom and understanding. It’s like putting on glasses that help us see clearly.
This deep love aids us in making the right choices. It guides us and ensures that our hearts are pure. It prepares us to meet Jesus one day. And such love that grows with knowledge and insight is what God wants for us.
Isn’t it amazing the kind of love God calls us to have? A love that becomes stronger, wiser, and clearer with each passing day. That’s the kind of love I want to have! How about you?
My Prayer
Dear Father, I ask for love like the one in Philippians 1:9-10. A love that grows with knowledge and sees with depth. Help me use this love in my choices, so they are wise and good. Keep my heart clean and ready for the day of Christ. Guide me to love better, and to grow in understanding every day.
Thank you for your enduring love for us. I seek to love like you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
