Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Have you ever pondered on how specific Bible verses can relate to our everyday experiences? Today, let’s take a deep dive into Hebrews 10:35-36: “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
In my journey, particularly as the founder of GodlyBible, there have been plenty of times when I’ve felt like giving up. I bet you must have had similar feelings on your path. It’s normal to experience those feelings. However, this verse from Hebrews encourages us to hold on to our confidence.
What does it mean for our daily life, though? It might entail being patient when we feel like we’re not moving forward. It might mean keeping up the effort during tough times. Or it could simply mean not abandoning our faith even when doubt may creep in. After all, we’re given the promise of a reward in the end.
Remember, those who persevere, not necessarily the fastest, win the race. Keep going, my friends. There’s a beautiful plan that God has in store for each of us.
My Prayer
Dear God, give us the strength to hold on to our confidence in hard times. Help us to keep our faith alive and strong, knowing that you have a great plan for us. Grace us with patience when progress seems slow and courage when we start to doubt.
We look forward to the rewards you promise. Please guide us to fulfill your will every day. So we can end each day feeling fulfilled and rewarded.
