This is what the Lord says — your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” – Isaiah 48:17
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
This morning, let’s reflect on Isaiah 48:17, where the Lord says, “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”
Isn’t that a comforting thought? God loves us deeply. Like a parent guiding a child, God is always there, showing us what’s best for us.
We all have days when we feel lost or confused. Those times can be tough. But, friends, remember God’s promise in this verse. He’s teaching us, guiding us, even when we can’t see it. Do you remember a time when you felt lost, and later realized God was guiding you? Let’s keep that in mind as we go about our day.
Picture your life as a hike through a forest. Sometimes, the path seems clear and easy. On other days, it’s hard to find your way. But with God as our Guide, we’re never truly lost. We might stumble over roots or get tired, but He’s there to point us in the right direction.
We all need to remember to trust Him more, even when the way seems unclear. With this verse, we are reminded of God’s promise to lead us on the best path for us, even when it’s hard.
My Prayer
Dear God, thank you for always guiding us. You are our strong guide even when times are tough. Help us to trust You more each day. When things are confusing, remind us of Your promise in Isaiah 48:17.
You teach us what is best for us and show us the way we should go. Give us faith to see Your guiding hand in our lives. Thank you for Your love and guidance. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
