Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Reading today’s verse, Ephesians 2:19, “You are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household” brings to mind the wonderful sense of belonging and acceptance we find in God’s love. Just think, we are not outsiders or strangers, but part of God’s family.
We’ve all had moments when we felt adrift on a vast ocean, feeling disconnected, unsure, and alone, like a tiny leaf being carried aimlessly by the wind. This beautiful verse is like the sun breaking through the clouds shedding light on the leaf guiding it gently towards secure ground. It tells us that we are not adrift. We are not alone. In God’s love and grace, we belong.
Imagine your life unfolding as a majestic forest, with each part playing a role. At times, you might feel like a shrinking violet, obscured by taller trees, unsure of your place. But then God, the master gardener, reassures you. This verse is His reminder that you’re as much a part of His grand design as the mightiest oak or the smallest fern.
Just as the all elements of the forest fit together in harmonious symmetry, so too do we find our place in the divine structure of His family. God’s message to us in this verse is that His love and acceptance are unwavering. We need to trust in His divine wisdom, His perfect plan, and the assurance that we always have a place in His infinite wisdom and abundant love.
My Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that brings us comfort and assurance. Thank you for reminding us, through Ephesians 2:19, that we are not strangers or exiles, but cherished members of your divine household. Your love, Lord, is the sturdy tree in which we find our strength, the guiding sunbeam that leads us to the secure ground, the gardener that reassures us of our vital role.
Help us, Father, to always remember where our true home is, within your love and grace, just as the bird finds its way back to its nest. Encourage our hearts to trust in your perfect placement for us within your divine plan, even when we feel uncertain. Let us always feel the warmth of your presence, much like the sun’s rays on a leaf, confirming who we are in You.

Do you have any covers with KJV rather than other translations? Love your work, but I really want KJV scripture.
