The verse for today, Psalms 94:18-19, is a comforting reminder of the Lord’s steadfast love and comforting presence in our lives. It communicates to us that even when we think we’re losing grip, our Lord is there, keeping us secure. How lovely and reassuring is that thought?

My Prayer
Dear Lord, your word is a bright lamp that guides us through the oftentimes dark path of life. Thank you for your unfailing love, a love that stands strong even when we falter. We acknowledge that we have moments when our footing seems unsure, when our hearts are heavy with worry, and we appreciate you being our solid ground, our safe haven.
Today, we ask for ongoing guidance, so that we may always feel your supporting hand, especially during the times when we feel that we’re slipping. Help us to trust in your love and remember that you are always there to catch us.
Also, we ask that you replace our anxiety with your joy. Make us channel your peace, so that we may share the joy and consolation you’ve given us with others. No matter how great anxiety or fear is, remind us of your promise of joy. In Jesus’ name,
