“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, give us all things?” – Romans 8:32
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Today we reflect on a powerful verse from Romans 8:32, “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, give us all things?”
Have you ever thought about the deep love that God has for us? It’s immense, isn’t it? God showed us this love by giving us His greatest gift, His own Son. This is love in its highest form. We might give up things we like, or even love, for others. But would we give up our own child? That’s the scale of God’s love for us.
When I think of this, I feel hope and strength. If God can give His own Son for us, surely He won’t hold back other things we need. Are you seeking wisdom? God will give it. Are you looking for comfort? He’ll provide that too. Are you in need of strength? God s there to support you. Are you seeking peace? God is the source of peace.
God’s love for us is abundant and unconditional. He cares about our smallest needs, our biggest dreams, and everything in between. But remember, His gifts also come with responsibilities. We need to use them to bring glory to Him.
This verse brings a comforting promise. We have a generous God who gives us all things. So trust Him, depend on Him, and believe in His goodness. You’re not alone. He is always there with you. I pray that this truth will encourage your heart today.
My Prayer
Dear God,
Teach us to grasp Your immense love – a love so vast that You sacrificed Your Son for us. May this truth truly resonate within us.
We seek Your gifts with open hearts – wisdom, tranquility, and resilience. Grant them as promised, in Your own perfect way and time. Help us identify and appreciate these gifts in our daily life.
Lastly, instill in us the ability to channel Your bestowed gifts for Your glory. Nurture a grateful heart in us, and the will to share with others the bounty of Your blessings. We thank You, for You are our ever-generous, eternally loving God.
Amen.
God has become my rock and my comfort since I lost both of my parents. It has been a very difficult road and I have often wondered “why” they had to go! But, I know it is His plan and I have the promise of seeing them and so many others in paradise! That promise is what keeps me putting one foot in front of the other!
